Terry Rex Patterson, 66, of Wellborn passed away Friday October 27th, 2023 at his home. Terry was born in Talladega, Alabama on June 7th, 1957. He graduated from Saks High School in 1975. His loving and playful spirit made him an amazing husband and father. He loved playing, coaching and watching all kinds of sports, especially Alabama football.
Memorial Services will be held at United Fellowship Baptist Church in Alexandria on November 4th, 2023. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm and the memorial will begin at 2 pm.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pat Martin Patterson; daughter Haley (Will) Keirn of Pensacola, FL; sisters Sharon (Jim) Boling of Anniston and Fran (Wes) Pope of Talladega; brother-in-law Ronald Broom of Anniston; sister-in-law Pam Martin of Glencoe; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael Cody Patterson; parents Rex and Pauline Patterson; his sister Pam Hydrick; father and mother in law Floy H and Martha Martin; brother-in-law Randy Martin and sister-in-law Phyllis Broom.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
