Terry Lynn Kiihnl of Waynesboro was born March 24, 1959 in Memphis, TN the son of the late John Winzel and Lillie Belle Newman Kiihnl. Terry died at his home in Waynesboro Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the age of 56 Years, 3 Months, 22 Days. He graduated Madonna Day School in Memphis and was a client of Buffalo River Services. Terry was a member of Peoples First and was recipient of Pat Hill Award for 2014. He also was a member of Wayne County Civitan Club and Waynesboro Church of Christ.
He is survived by a sister, Linda Brewer and husband Clovis E. of Waynesboro, TN, nieces, Lisa Sanders and husband Tim and Jennie Runions and husband Kelvin, great nephews, Jacob Sanders and Trent Runions, great nieces, Riley Sanders and Lillie Ruth Runions all of Waynesboro, TN.
Services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Ronnie Pope and Phil Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 19th from 6:00-9:00 PM and Monday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be given to the William Thomas Helton Foundation, P.O. Box 847, Waynesboro, TN 38485.
Pallbearers are Jacob Sanders, Mike Kiihnl, Randy Kiihnl, Mitchell Kiihnl, Jonathan Newman, and Charles Traywick. Honorary pallbearers are Buffalo River Services staff and clients.
