Terry Fay Bolding, 77, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at his residence surrounded by loved ones. He was born October 7, 1947 to Foy and Eloise Vinson Bolding. He retired from Sunshine Homes in 2017 after working there for more than 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Red Bay, the Burleson Masonic Lodge, York Rite, Scottish Rite and Cahaba Shriners. He loved being with his family and friends and spending time at the lake house.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 11, 4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Bill Harper and Brady Bolding officiating. Burial will be in Burnout Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 2-4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pat Bolding; his daughter and son-in-law, Bridgett and Randy Middleton; his son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Renee Bolding; his daughter-in-law, Amy James Bolding; grandchildren, Trey (Olivia), Britan (David), Brady, Bree and Makenzie; great-granddaughter, Chloe and two great-grandsons coming in the fall; sister, Brenda Terry and nieces, Sherry Collins (Charles) and Lori Shook (Ramey).
He was preceded in death by his son, Brad Bolding; his parents; brother, Gerald Bolding; niece, Shelia Bolding; his in-laws, Clyde and LaVelle Shook and brother-in-law, E.C. Terry.
Pallbearers will be Brady Bolding, Trey Bolding, Ronald Bolding, Clay Collins, Caleb Collins and Ramey Shook.
