Terry Don Brimer, 63, of Haleyville entered into rest Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Mr. Brimer was born September 27, 1949 in Haleyville. He was a lifelong member of South Haleyville Church of God. Terry acted as the carpenter and caretaker of the church. He attended Haleyville High School. Then later became co-owner of B&B Service Station with his father, Vernie Brimer, for 25 years. After selling the service station he was self employed for the remainder of his life as a carpenter and craftsman. Terry was blessed with a special talent where he could look at something and build it from memory. He enjoyed collecting antique furniture and glassware.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 5-8pm at South Haleyville Church of God, were services will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 2pm. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Royce Brimer and Reverend Hayward Burcham will officiate.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Nelda Brimer; daughter, Kim (Michael) Whitehurst Jr.; mother, Mary Mae Brimer and brother, Jerry (Ginger) Brimer.
He was preceded in death by his father Vernie Brimer and brother Vernie Wayne Brimer.
