Terri Craig, age 65, a resident of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on October 17, 2024, at Waynesboro Post Acute and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Houston, Texas, Terri was the daughter of the late James Edward Wehring and the late Katy Merle Gostik Wehring. Throughout her life, she wore many hats, working in various jobs such as waitressing, dry cleaning, and house cleaning, all while raising her children as a single mother. Later in life, she returned to school and proudly earned her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Terri was a woman of great strength and resilience, known for her unwavering determination and her ability to persevere through life’s challenges. She survived a car accident that many would not have, demonstrating her relentless spirit and ability to overcome the odds. Her children will always remember her for the lessons she instilled in them—the importance of hard work, standing your ground, and never giving up.
She is survived by her children, Sharlotte (Matt) Manley of Apison, Tennessee, Katrina Stevens of Alaska, and Jimmy Wehring of Clarksville, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Jackson Manley, Jacob Manley, Dakota Wehring, Amber Wehring, and Kodie Wehring; and great grandchildren, Amias Reign Latham, Arya Michele Wehring, and Rowan Wehring.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Edward Wehring, Jr., and her sister, Kimberly Wehring.
Terri’s legacy will be one of resilience, strength, and love, and she will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
