Teresa S. Belyea, 67, of Huntsville, AL passed away at Huntsville Hospital early Friday morning. She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace “Ed” Sides in 2008 and her mother, Sarah Sides, earlier this year. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Belyea, their three children, Brooke Sahin, Bridgett Walker, and Britt Belyea; and her grandchildren, Atesh and Deniz Sahin.
She worked a variety of mostly part time jobs, however her main focus was raising her children and caring for her family. Teresa was an active church member throughout her life where she especially enjoyed singing in the choir. She was an avid quilter who shared her love and passion with a local quilting group where she mentored and taught. She developed various interests after her children were grown, but more recently devoted her time and effort to once again caring for her family when her elderly mother came to live with her and her husband for the last few years of her life.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 16 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 17 in the funeral home chapel with Worship Pastor Rick Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
