It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Teresa “Reesa” Weaver, a cherished member of our community. Born on August 25, 1970, Teresa was the beloved middle daughter of Harry Weaver and Barbara Pruitt. She held her family in the highest regard, cherishing her close relationships with her sisters and loved ones above all else. Teresa was a beacon of light to all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a cherished sister, mother, daughter, niece, and friend. Her infectious laughter and joyous spirit were a constant source of happiness, even in her final days. Teresa found solace in being on the water and spending time with her beloved animals. Teresa leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her sons, Clint O’Bryen (Kaitlyn Speigle) and Adam O’Bryen (Madison O’Bryen), her sister Leslie Ramsey, and her grandchildren Liam, Amelia, and Lincoln O’Bryen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Weaver and Barbara Pruitt, her sister Rita Weaver Haney, and the father of her children, John O’Bryen.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to the nurses and doctors at UAB for their unwavering care and dedication to Teresa during her final days. A Celebration of Life will be held in Teresa’s honor for her closest family and friends. We will announce the details of this special gathering in the coming weeks. Teresa will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished.
