Teresa Mae Staggs of Waynesboro, TN was born March 8, 1963 in Lawrenceburg, TN, the daughter of the late William Richard and Rosie Lavonia Galloway Staggs. Ms Staggs was a disabled factory worker.
Ms Staggs departed this life on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at her home at the age of 49 Years, 5 Months, 27 Days.
She is survived by son, George Delo Staggs of Iron City, TN; stepsons, Richard Lee Griggs and James Griggs Jr. both of Waynesboro, TN; daughters, Rosia Leigh Murphy of Cypress Inn, TN, Brandy Michelle Higdon and Chrystal Kay Robbins both of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, James Vaughn, Angel Murphy, Chassidy Vaughn, Dakota Staggs, Eric Higdon, Christopher Higdon, Elijah Ferguson, Victoria Murphy, Robert Murphy; five step-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Gene Staggs of Lawrenceburg, TN; sisters, Patricia Ann Ray and Deborah Kay Jones both of Lawrenceburg, TN, Linda Faye Porter of Prestonburg, KY; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ms Staggs was preceded in death by brothers, Larry Richard, Donnie Dale, Ronnie Macks, Calvin Eddie, William Karl, and Dwight Allen Staggs; a sister, Pauline Staggs; and a stepson, Buddy Allen Griggs.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Services will be Friday, September 7, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Chief Creek Cemetery at Lawrence County, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
