God with his infinite wisdom and understanding has enlarged his bouquet.  Teresa (Lacy) McCrary was the fourth of offspring, born to the union of the late Mr. Elmer D. McCrary and the late Mrs. Manie Ann Pennington McCrary on September 17, 1965.  Teresa’s enchanting, loving, and passionate life obtained it’s summit on Monday, June 6, 2022.  Since she departed this life at the Decatur Morgan Hospital, in Decatur, AL, Teresa attended Reform Elementary School and Pickens County High School in Reform, AL.  She later attended Brewer State and obtained an Associate Degree.  After which, she decided to extend her education and attended the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL.

She was reunited in holy matrimony to Lorenzo Lacy, and was later divorced.

Teresa’s life was a compilation of love, laughter, helpfulness, and generosity.  She worked at Mary F. Spears State Farm Insurance Agency, and as a private help caregiver before she decided to embark upon retirement.

She became a member of the Church of Christ and remained an active member at the Eastside Church of Christ in Decatur, AL until she was called to her eternal home.

Teresa loved to decorate and could embellish the most simple of ordinary things and make them look elaborate.  She also loved sports.  Teresa would always tell almost everyone “I love you.”

She was preceded in death her parents, Elmer and Manie Pennington (Baby Doll) McCrary; one sister, Patricia McCrary; and one brother, Johnny Franklin Coleman.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 11, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. Larry Williams officiating.  Graveside service will follow at Unity Grove Cemetery in Reform, AL.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.
