Teresa Gandy Mitchell, age 55, of Russellville, moved to her Heavenly home on her birthday, Sunday, October 06, 2024.
Teresa was born on October 06, 1969, to James Ralph & Ernestine Gandy. She graduated at Russellville High School in 1988. She loved to take pictures and making memories. She was known as mom, friend, a Christian, and her favorite name was “Nana”. Her grandchildren were her world. She loved her friends and family fiercely and loved being together with them every chance she could. She loved Jesus and always trusted him to help her in everything. She was very involved working with the children program at church and loved her friends at North Russellville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ralph & Ernestine (Lewey) Gandy; brother, Greg Gandy; and infant sister.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her fiancé, Harve Drewery; sons, Caleb Mitchell, Jared Mitchell (wife, TeLeah); grandchildren, Layla Mitchell, Travis Mitchell, Lillian Mitchell; sister, Brenda Hunt (Kreg); lifelong friend more like a sister, Tish Hollimon; several nieces & nephews; and too many close friends to name everyone.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 09, 2024, at North Russellville Baptist Church, 1401 Waterloo Road, Russellville. The funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Bro. Jason Swinney and Bro. Steven Scott officiating the service. The burial will follow at Tharptown Cemetery.
