  Teresa Dale Burrow Solley Profile PhotoTeresa Dale Burrow Solley, known to most since childhood as “Cookie,” was welcomed into heaven on Monday evening, April 1, 2024, at the age of 63. Teresa was born on September 9, 1960, in Cullman County, Alabama, to Bobby Ray Burrow and Betty Ann Quick Burrow Cherry.

Ms. Solley was a member of Welcome Baptist Church. Cookie owned and operated the Parkside Restaurant for several years and she worked many years at Nicholson File in Cullman. Children brought great joy to Teresa, and she was always happy to babysit for anyone who needed her to do so. Cookie enjoyed the beach, loved her little dog, Max, and absolutely adored her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will be cherished by her family until they are reunited with her in heaven.

Ms. Solley is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Ray Burrow, and Betty Ann Quick Burrow Cherry; grandparents, Phillip and Pearl Burrow, Asa and Connie Quick; brother, Randy Burrow; and her sister, Tina Burrow Chambers.

Those surviving Cookie includes her children, Skylar Aker (Leanna), Michael Chambers, Bridgett Davis (Bradley), Kimberly Terry (Josh); grandchildren, Mason, Zoe, and Ava Gregory; sister, Teri “Tiny” Gilley (Billy); and her beloved friend, Dale Bagwell.

Funeral services for Ms. Solley will be held at 3 p.m., on Thursday, April 4, 2024, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, Mike Knopp officiating, with burial following services in New Hope #2 Cemetery. Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation prior to services on Thursday, from 2 p.m. until services begin at 3 p.m..
