Terence W. Watson, Sr., age 78, of Winchester, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Coffee County on May 20, 1945, to the late Vertis and Terressa (Towry) Watson. Terry worked as a fire inspector for Arnold Engineering Development Complex for twenty-seven years, ending his career as a Crew Chief. After retiring from AEDC he went on to work for CSA which led him to travel to Afghanistan and to Kuwait. He also was a US Air Force Veteran. Terry was a long-time member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and was a TN Vols fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vertis and Terressa Watson; grandson, Wylan Watson; and great grandson, Arkyn Bloom. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sherry Watson; two sons, Terence W. Watson, Jr. “Woody” (Tiffany) and Thorpe Watson (Valerie); daughter, Brandy Morris (Justin); adopted grandchildren, Jalynn Mays (Cody) and Devin Hevener (Miko); Grandchildren, Micki Jade Bloom (Albert), Jaza Watson, Jixi Watson, Worth Watson, Wryder Watson, and Wyatt Watson; great grandchildren, Acelyn Bloom, Azney Bloom, Varrow Rovin, Kamaile Hevener, Kalia Hevener, Onalia Watson, and Maddex Mays. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2PM at Watson Funeral Home.
