Taylor Dunaway, 32, died Sunday, September 4, 2022. He was born on March 5, 1990 to Billy Dunaway Jr. and Sharon Hopper Givens. He was a 2008 graduate of Priceville High School. Taylor loved his job, working with his father at Priceville Contractors Inc. where He operated heavy equipment. Taylor had a huge heart, was very kind and will always be loved by many people. He tried very hard to accomplish his sobriety but sadly he lost his battle. He was a loving son, brother and a very proud uncle. He was proceeded in death by Grandparents, Billie and Virginia Dunaway. Step-father, Ted Cartee. Uncles, Johnny Hopper and Calvin Hopper.
Taylor is survived by Father, Billy Dunaway Jr. (Angie) of Hartselle; Mother, Sharon Hopper Givens (Roger) of Moulton; Sisters, Carlee Cartee (Jake) of Decatur and Jenni Crosby (Dennis) of Moulton; Brothers, Michale (Elizabeth & daughter) of Hartselle and Duncan of Decatur. Nephews, Kyler Stephens, Kagen Stephens and Kade Stephens; Girlfriend, Christina Matthews of Somerville; Bestfriend, Chelsea Clark of Decatur; Grandparents, Jerry and Betty Hopper; Aunts, Cathy Hamilton (Jimmy), Cheryl Dunaway White (Larry), Lisa Graves (Brett), Susan Dunaway Rogers; Uncles, Gene Hopper and Jay Hopper; and several cousins.
Pallbearers are Spencer Hill, Jeremy Hopper, Jay Hopper, Brian Hamilton, Nick Guthrie, and Jake Stephens.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home Friday, September 9, 2022 at 5pm. Funeral service will start at 7pm, Pastors Jeff and Molly Richie will officiate.
A private burial will be held for Immediate family.
