Tara Marie Hogan, 40 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, at her residence. Ms. Hogan was born on May 5th, 1981, to Madjid Zowghi and Katherine Walker.
Ms. Hogan is survived by her daughters Christi Alyssa Taylor Hogan, Alexis Kaitlyn Hogan, Mercy Harper Hogan, and Juliet Rhea Hogan.
A memorial service for Ms. Hogan will be held on Sunday, December 5th, 2021, at 4:00pm at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00pm.
Ms. Hogan was artistic, she loved to paint, and she loved the beach. She played basketball and was on the dance team for East Limestone High School. She was the head of the yearbook society for East Limestone and was on the board of directors for New Futures. She was a branch manager for Redstone Federal Credit Union. Her greatest accomplishment was guiding four beautiful girls through life, while fighting a brain tumor for 16 years.
