Tammy “Flossie” Beegle Hicks, age 54 of Heflin, passed away on October 11, 2024, at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Magnolia House at Cremation Services of East Alabama. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the service at the Magnolia House.
She is survived by her husband, Troy Hicks; daughters, Amanda Quinn (James Quinn), Brandy Jones (Ben Jones), April Kaemmerer (Jonathan Kaemmerer); and Victoria Harris; siblings, Norma Jean Mayne and Douglas Martin; and grandchildren, Jake Harris, Katis Jones, Dale Harris, Dewey Harris, Ollie Quinn, Abby Quinn, Ellie Quinn, Eli Quinn, Jase Martinez, Wrangler Jones, Brantley Jones, Braden Kaemmerer and Rylee Kaemmerer.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Hargrove; father, Thomas Martin; brother, James Martin; mother-in-law, Joyce Hicks; father-in-law, Melvin Hicks; and sister-in-law, Tonya Singer.
Tammy Beegle Hicks, a.k.a. Flossie, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and loved by all who met her. She had a heart of gold. She loved her family and friends dearly. She loved spending time outdoors and riding motorcycles with the love of her life. She loved taking adventures and camping. She loved caring for her family and friends and could always put a smile on our face and brighten your day. She always had a listening ear when needed. She was the light of everyone’s life. She lived such a special, amazing, joyful life with fun filled days and memories she would share. She was a very strong woman, she fought her battle with cancer like a true warrior and won!
