Tammy Denise Vines was born on Jan. 25, 1965, and was carried home to God by Jesus on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. Her family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, Nov. 23, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Mark Mayfield will be officiating. Interment will be in Hard Shell Cemetery.
Tammy was a resident of Leighton, and a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church. She greatly loved her son, Ryan Heath Vines, as well as her entire family. Tammy loved to write songs and poems, and she liked to sing. She had a tender and benevolent heart, helping people she did not know.
Tammy was preceded in death by father, Billy Ray Vines; brother, Tony Joe Vines; grandparents, Grace Campbell Dawson, Pride Dawson Sr., and Johnny and Ellie Vines.
Survivors include her mother and step father, Betty Fleming and Dwight; son, Ryan Heath Vines; brothers, Gerald Ray Vines (Bridgett) and David Lee Vines (Teresa); sisters, Melissa Ann Vines and Teresa Marie McCormack (Kenneth); and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James (Cornell) Goodloe, Petie Carey, Billy Dawson, Chris Harvey, Marcus Dawson, and Dee Dawson.
