Mrs.Tammy Denette Thrasher, 50, of Tuscumbia, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013. Her family will receive friends for visitation today at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel on Friday, Oct. 4, with Brother Shane Swinney and Brother Marty Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Tammy attended Launch Point Church of Tuscumbia, Ala. She was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed dearly by all.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harold “Cabbage” Mayfield.
She is survived by her husband of 23 blessed years, Jimmy Thrasher; daughter, Molly Denette Thrasher (Chase Timothy Bowman); grandsons, Karsten Salim Thrasher and Kippton Thomas Thrasher; mother, Judy Mayfield; sisters, Phyliss Lewis (Dale) and Christy Roden (Wade); brother, Darryl Mayfield; and a host of other loving family members.
Pallbearers will be Trenton Roden, Mason Soeder, Bart Lewis, Patrick Hall, Jason Moore, Clay Glover, Wayne Thrasher and Albert McGuyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin McGuyer, Wade Roden, Dale Lewis and Corbin Hall.
The family gives a special thanks to Jason Moore, Clay Glover, Team Global, Tracy Crosswhite, Janice Graves, Angela King, Courtney Hall and Tammy Flanagan for all the love and care shown to our dear loved one.
