Tamera Sue “Tammy” Borton Dunn, 56, peacefully exited this life’s journey at her residence on September 20, 2022. She was born December 30, 1965 in Cambridge Ohio, the 2nd child to Judith Miller Borton Morris and the late Harold Borton. Tammy’s childhood home was in Quaker City and she graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1984. She married her “everything” Herbert Lee Dunn Jr on October 18, 1986 and headed south near Atlanta, where they called home, her favorite place being Villa Rica, GA.
Tammy sought out the good in everyone, was a dedicated friend and loved to laugh. She had a huge, soft heart and found joy in helping others. She loved being in the mountains and the beauty of waterfalls. She was a hard worker and tinkered in many fields. She loved music and would sing the lyrics on a whim.
Tammy is joining loved ones gone before her, her father, Harold Borton, grandmother Freda Marshall Borton, a beloved aunt Elaine Borton Hardy and her mother in law Garnet Dunn.
Left behind to miss her and cherish our memories are her husband of 36 years, Herbert Dunn. Her mother Judy, and step mother Esther Borton. 4 Sisters, Brenda Borton Hartsook, Melissa (Terry) Logan, Susan (Darryl) Logan, Danielle Borton and brother Joshua Borton. 3 sisters in law (her “other” sisters), Tammy (Mark) Miller, Karen (Mike) Campbell, Candi Dunn and brother in law Jeff Dunn. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews with a special bond to Isaiah Dunn and Kara Griggs. Along with several close friends, including Sue, Casey and Carrie.
Cremation has taken place, and her ashes have been spread in a “babbling brook” on family property. “Her girls” from church, Ellen, Christina, Karen, Melissa and several others made a celebration of her life happen with family and friends at the Olive Tree in Villa Rica, a place she enjoyed fellowship with them.
