Talmadge Wayne Elliott passed away at his home April 21, 2019. Born May 29, 1942, he was the son of Ethoda Blanton Elliott and the late Garvie Talmadge Elliott.
He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Frances Fannin Elliott; their children, Tara (Ryan) Wallace, Renee Elliott (Van) Uhlman and Talmadge “Tal” Walker Elliott; his grandchildren, Hannah Echols (Tyler) Ray, Chelsey and Tyler Wallace, Chloe and Trevor Jordan; great granddaughter, Emily Danielle Wallace; sister, Betty Elliott (John) Carpenter. He is also survived by several loving cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Walker Elliott. He was a lifelong resident of Haleyville, Alabama. He graduated from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. He retired from Traders and Farmers Bank in Double Springs, Alabama. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Haleyville, Alabama.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 24, 2019 from 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL., with the funeral at 10:00 AM in the chapel, with Dr. Ron Horton officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
