Funeral for Talmadge O. Wallace, 91, of Decatur will be Friday, August 7, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Chapel with Dr. Steve Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Wallace, who died Tuesday, August 3, 2015, at River City Health, was born September 10, 1923, in Limestone County to E.V. Wallace and Hattie Lou Wallace. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Beltline Church of Christ. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Zerah Thompson Wallace; two sons, Jerry Laron Wallace and Danny Jerone Wallace; one brother, Bill Wallace; and one sister, Ola Dean Clark.
