Talmadge (Mac) Wilton McCord
Mr. McCord, (Mac) Served as the Guntersville building inspector for many years and retired as an investigator with the State of Home Builders Licensure Board in Montgomery. Graduated from Randolph County High School in 1959 and continued a close relationship with former classmates. Mac was a member of First Baptist Church and especially enjoyed studying with his Sunday School Class.
Survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Ruth McCord, grandchildren Kirstin Gay, Sons (Cayden, Camden)
Cole Duckworth (Wife Brittany, Sons Bradley and Ryder) Peyton Lankester (Son Tommy) Pilara Gay.
Sister, Juanita Knott, Carolyn Pinkerton and daughter Sandra McCord.
Preceded in death by his parents T.L. and Fannie McCord, daughter Penny Lankester. Sister, Barbara Martin and Brother Jeff McCord.
Visitation Sunday April 28,2024 from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Guntersville, Al.
with Memorial Service to follow at 1:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Guntersville or to Shepherds Cove Hospice
