Tabatha Anita Moore, 57, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2024, in Pontotoc County, MS. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, niece and aunt to her family, and a cherished friend to many.
Tabatha was the first born to the late Willie James Moore and Ivory Jean Moore on January 27, 1967. She was raised in the church and loved God wholeheartedly. Her life was rooted in her faith. She grew up attending Chapel Grove Holiness Church and continued her spiritual journey at Davis Temple in her later years.
Tabatha’s radiant energy, and contagious laughter uplifted all, preventing sadness and madness with her wit and humor. She left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
Known for her charismatic spirit, Tabatha brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.
She had a love for cleaning and her life was a testament to the saying “cleanliness is next to Godliness.” Her lifelong career was her own cleaning business.
Family was everything to Tabatha. She found her greatest fulfillment in nurturing and tending to their needs. The happiness of her loved ones was her top priority.
In nurturing her children, Tabatha instilled within them a resilient spirit and an unwavering strength. Her example was one of infinite capability and determination, demonstrating that no challenge was impossible. With grace and perseverance, she tackled every obstacle.
Tabatha’s presence was a beacon of light that illuminated our days, and her absence now leaves an irreplaceable void.
She leaves behind a legacy of love: her mother: Ivory Jean Ewing; children: Rasheeda Monae Moore and Regis Parae Moore; grandchildren: Marquavious Kevon Ford, Makailyn Noel Ford, Khloe Nevaeh Moore and Josiah Judon; siblings: Ivory Lynenice Moore (Sammy), Wilburn Jean Bradley (Felix), Jabbar Johnson and Dontavis Keon Wright; aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie James Moore; her grandparents, Bill and Leona Davis, Wilburn Moore and Lorene Mallory; and her brother, Christopher Olyn Moore.
