Symantha Wales Winfield, 92, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Born in Fulton, MS on August 19, 1931, to C.T. and Bertha McFadden, but had lived in various states throughout her lifetime. She crocheted many blankets for loved ones and in later days she enjoyed channel surfing. She also enjoyed her word find puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Larry McFadden, Valerie Tutor, Allen Winfield, Wade Winfield, Mark Winfield, and Kylys Scroggins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Henry McFadden and Edward McFadden; and her sister, Vivian Swords.
Services will be Friday, July 5, 2024, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Visitation will begin at noon and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Pontotoc City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Jones, Justin Jones, Dalton Scroggins, Lucas Scroggins, Gary Griffin, Jr., and Drake White.
