Syble Wilburn Profile PhotoSyble Wilburn, age 88, of Collierville, TN, passed away on February 8, 2024. She was born on May 18, 1935, to the late Orlander and Eunice Essary. Syble was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Wilburn, and her brothers, Durell and Rebuern Essary. Syble was a devoted Christian woman who loved the Lord and her family. She was a caring individual who always sought to help those in need. Syble dedicated her entire life to her faith and her loved ones. She was a loving wife to Frank Wilburn for 72 years and a cherished mother to her sons, Patrick and Perry Wilburn. She was also a proud grandmother to Ashley Smith, Lacy Wilburn, and Christian Wilburn. Syble is survived by her daughters-in-law, Teresa Wilburn and Becky Wilburn, as well as three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, and Alfred. In her career, Syble was a dedicated housewife, devoting her time and energy to creating a loving home for her family. She found joy in taking care of others and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Syble worshiped at Collierville First Baptist Church, where she found solace and community. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she found comfort and strength in her religious beliefs. A funeral service will be held at Collierville First Baptist Church in Collierville, TN on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 11 AM. A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 AM till service time. Following the service, Syble will be laid to rest at Magnolia Gardens in Corinth, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any contributions be made to a charitable organization of your choice in Syble’s memory. Syble Wilburn will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of love, faith, and selflessness will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
