MADISON-The Madison Police Department issued a statement on the apprehension of suspects in a burglary that took place on Friday, February 16:
“On Friday, February 16, 2016, Madison Police Officers responded to a burglary in progress call at 140 Royal Drive. A citizen witnessed suspects force entry into a nearby apartment and notified police. Officers arrived and saw suspects fleeing the apartment. After a short foot chase, the offender was taken into custody. Officers quickly located a second suspect who also ran from the scene. The second suspect made illegal entry into a nearby apartment and faces additional charges for that burglary.
Deaundrea Ford, 25 years old, and
, 26 years old, both from Huntsville were arrested within minutes of the officers’ arrival. Both subjects were charged with Burglary in the Third Degree. Deaundrea Ford was also charged with Theft of Property and Possession of Controlled Substance. Both subjects were booked into the Madison County Jail.
Deaundrea Ford was charged with Burglary in the Third Degree, Theft of Property in the Second Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance with a total bond of $ 20,000.00. First attached photo.
Ledarius Banks was charged with two counts of Burglary in the Third Degree and Theft of Property in the Second Degree, with total bond of $32,500.00. Second attached photo.
