FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a press statement on the arrest of a suspect on charges of Theft of Property 1st Degree:
“On 3/4/19 at approximately 10 pm officers responded to a stolen vehicle call at the corner of Tennessee St and Court St.
The victim stated she left her vehicle running and went into a business on Tennessee St. She then observed someone leave in her vehicle. A few minutes later Officers located the vehicle at the intersection of Locust St. and Irvine St. Officer conducted a traffic stop and took Barry K Wisdom into custody.
After speaking with Det Graves, Mr. Wisdom was arrested for Theft of Property 1st. Mr. Wisdom is currently in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $5,000.00 cash bond.”
