James Stephen Suber Jr.
FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a statement conerning the theft of artifacts from the Gold Record Room. An arrest has been made in this theft:
“On April 08, 2023, at approximately 1:42 p.m., a male entered the Gold Record Room at 201 South Court Street. While inside, he removed a guitar from a display case and a gold record from the wall.
The offender then fled from the scene. Thanks to tips from the public, a suspect was identified. Detectives obtained warrants on James Stephen Suber Jr. Patrol Officers located Suber a short time later. Detectives interviewed Suber and recovered the stolen items.
James Suber is in the Lauderdale County Detention Center charged with Burglary Third and Theft of Property First. His bond is $45,000″ ~ Sergeant Ryan Kelly
