Suspect Arrested Charged With Sexual Abuse First-Degree

ATHENS-Athens Police arrested a suspect on Tuesday, September 15 for sexual abuse.  Here is a statement regarding the arrest by Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson:

“Thomas Christopher Malone was arrested yesterday afternoon for sexual abuse first degree. Malone is of having inappropriate and unwanted sexual contact with a 55-year-old female acquaintance.

This incident occurred last Wednesday night at the victim’s apartment on 5th Avenue. Malone was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail.”
