Funeral Services for Mrs. , age 65 of Lineville will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Faith Christian Fellowship in Ashland at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Larry Mitchell and Pastor Bela Kobor officiating. Burial will be adjoining at Faith Memorial Cemetery.
Susie passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Wyoming but spent most of her life in Alabama. She loved to travel to the mountains or the beach and had a great love for lighthouses. Motorcycle trips with friends Billy and Sonya often provided an opportunity for a nice nap. “Mama” to many, was a blessed spirit that loved everyone. She loved Jesus, her family and her church. She adored her husband, kids, grandkids and great grands.
She was survived by her husband of 49 years, Mark Jenkins; children: Chad Jenkins(Anita), Mandy Jenkins Boyte(Gene) and Barron Jenkins(Donna); grandchildren: Cierra Epperson(Nate), Savannah Epperson(Nic), Colton Jenkins, Whitney Jenkins, Chase Jenkins, Lacey Jenkins, Payton Jenkins, Dylan Jenkins Boyte, Daniel Blackwood and Andrea Blackwood; great-grandchildren: Greyson Epperson and Harper Epperson; sisters: Liz Anderson and Linda Campbell; sister-in-laws, Lois Whitley, Aimee Hanner and Melinda Denson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Susie is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Eunice Whitley and a brother, Calvin Whitley.
Active Pallbearers will be Tony Whitley, John Hurst, Nic Epperson, Nate Epperson, Colton Jenkins, Payton Jenkins and Chase Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Creek Whitley and Wyatt Whitley.
Her visitation will be Wednesday, at Faith Christian Fellowship before the funeral starting at 9:30.
