Susan Marie Thomas (72) of Piedmont Alabama passed away surrounded by family on January 23, 2024. She was a masterful homemaker, a great cook, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Norman and Rachel Helen Brown; her brother, Robert Wayne Brown, and her grandson Troy L. Jones.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband James Quincy Moss and their four children; their daughters Vickie Lynn (Richard) Loignon, Sherrie Diane (David) Minor, and Rhonda Kay (Gabriel) Law; and their son James Michael Moss. Six grandchildren, Rachel Marie Crippen, Bryan Minor, Matthew Minor, Angela Moss, Sarah Merino, Nicholas Merino; and two great-grandchildren, Corbin Garrett and Kiah Crippen.
Susan was an avid thrifter and loved Goodwill stores and the Center of Hope, and was always looking for the best bargain. She was a friend to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
