Susan Lewis, 65, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Sanctuary Hospice House after a lengthy illness. She was born June 28, 1951, to M.L. and Erma Estes. Susan was a 1969 graduate of Belden High School. On April 11, 1970 she married Ricky Lewis who preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2015. She worked at Reed Manufacturing for many years and later at the VF Factory Outlet for 9 years. Known as “Mamaw” to many, she loved her kids and her church family. She was a member of Belden Baptist Church.
Services will be 11AM Thursday at Belden Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Susan leaves behind a brother, James Estes (Larisa) Greenwood Springs; her daughter Amy Lewis of Belden; 2 granddaughters, Kristen Jackson (Daniel) of Jacksonville, AR and Allie Reeves of Belden; 3 great-grandsons, Ryder Reeves, Bennett Jackson, and Carsyn Reeves.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Jackson, Shannon Lewis, Chris Estes, David Cady, Josh Angus, and Shane Helms. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Dye, Paul Rajacich, and Frank Leggins.
