Susan Elaine Maginness, age 67 of Fort Payne, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023. She was born on December 9, 1955 in Huntington, WV to the late Earl & Betty Sunderland Handley. She was a retired educator in the Manatee County School District in Florida.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Maginness; children, Melissa Anderson and Michael Maginness; sister, Kathy McLeod; grandchildren, Devon Nicholas, Jocelyn Nicholas, Brianna Nicholas, Ryan Maginness, Paige Maginness, Riley Maginness, and Carter Anderson; and soon-to-be great-grandchild, Colt Widner.
