A memorial gathering honoring Mrs. Susan Carol Gamane, age 72, will be held from 4 PM until 7 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Gamane passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at her home.
During her career Mrs. Gamane served as a CPA with the IRS, a Fraud Auditor for Chrysler Corporation (nicknamed the Black Widow), was the owner/ president of Ledger Plus helping small business and an officer with New Jacksonians.
She was always willing to lend a helping hand and enjoyed shopping on Amazon daily. She also cared deeply for her cats including Mitzy (whom she had for 27 years and 27 days), Fred, TC Bowser, Sherlock and dogs Ricky, Lucy and Lucky.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle Oliver Leeton and Inez Leeton.
Mrs. Gamane is survived by her husband, John Stephen Gamane; two sisters, Barbara Mosbey and Anne Fisher; five nieces, Kelpie Mosbey, Carissa Remillard, Charles Mosbey, Brielle Gamane and Annette Mosbey; and brother-in-law Ronald Gamane.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Humane Society.
