Susan Ann Harber Caraccioli of Huntsville, Alabama went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 25, 2023. She was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. Susan was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, niece, sister-in-law, and friend born on November 5, 1955 to Joyce Dale Harber and Ramond Dale Harber in Cobb County, Atlanta, Georgia. Susan was an only child and spent her childhood years in Atlanta with a large family including her 8 aunts and uncles and multiple cousins before moving to Huntsville, Alabama in her teenage years. Susan attended and graduated high school at Virgil I. Grissom High School in Huntsville, where she met and later married the love of her life Paul Anthony Caraccioli on August 1, 1974. Paul and Susan celebrated 48 years of marriage in 2022. Susan and Paul have two children, Lucas Paul Caraccioli of Atlanta, Georgia, and Matthew Adam Caraccioli of Huntsville, Alabama. Susan earned her Degree in Nursing and Registered Nursing License through attending night classes while raising two young sons during the day. Susan graduated Magna Cum Laude June 5, 1987. She served as a nurse in the Cardiac ICU of Humana and Huntsville Hospitals and later at Health South – Huntsville, spanning a 27-year career as a Registered Nurse. Susan had a special place in her heart for her family, patients, nature, and animals including her many pets whom she loved dearly. Susan’s hobbies included travelling, roller blading, camping, boating, skiing, and cooking. Susan is preceded in death by her father – Ramond Dale Harber, and her mother – Joyce Dale Harber. She is survived by her husband – Paul Anthony Caraccioli, and her two sons – Luke & Matthew Caraccioli.  “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV
