MORGAN COUNTY-On Sunday, June 11 deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal shooting on Lenox Ln in the Union Hill community. Upon arrival at the scene deputies have located one deceased male. Investigators and Coroner Jeff Chunn were on the scene of the shooting.
The Criminal Investigations Division(CID) and Patrol Deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department have located two potential suspects were detained for questioning. Investigators have charged Charles Theodore Spears, 33 of Huntsville with murder. Spears has also been charged with 15-22-54 – Obstruction-PV – Probation Violation and is being held with no bond.
Jeff Chunn Morgan County Coroner has identified the victim as Ronald Richard Morgan, 61 of Somerville.
