Funeral service for Sue Maddox Humphrey, 86, will be Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Antioch United Methodist Church with Rev. Ira Laney officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Antioch UMC Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Church.
Mrs. Humphrey died on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Redstone Village . She was born April 8, 1930, in Morgan County to Atticus Golson Maddox and Gladys Breedlove Maddox. She was a devoted partner to her late husband: Wayne M. Humphrey in their life together and in their dairy farm equipment business. She was a member of Wayside Garden Club and Country Garden Club and was a homemaker. Mrs. Humphrey taught School at Hatton, Danville and Cotaco. Her family wishes to thank all the caregivers for their compassionate care during the last years of her life.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimers Association.
