Sue M. Stricklin age 90 of Florence was called home by the Lord on Sunday, August 24, 2014. Visitation will be Tuesday Evening, August 26, at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday August 27, 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Elkins Funeral Home of Florence with Henry Melton officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Stricklin was preceded in death by her husband A.J. “Jack” Stricklin; and two daughters, Clara Chambers and Sarah Poole.
Sue is survived by two sons; Floyd Hall Jr. (Margaret) and Jackie Stricklin (Sheila); One daughter, Debra Robertson (Glenn); One brother, Bob Melton (Mary); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons. Sue was a member of the Christian Faith.
