Sue Gatlin LeMay, age 80, passed away on February 20, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Rogersville, AL. She was the daughter of James Leslie Gatlin and Willodean Wallace Gatlin. She was a homemaker and fulltime caregiver to her six children. She loved children and babysat for many special little ones in her home. Each one of them had a special place in her heart. She was a member of Rogersville Church of Christ where she filled up a whole pew with her young family every week.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Thomas Verlon LeMay. She is survived by her children: Tommy LeMay (Tina), Cindy Davis (Johnny), Cathy Trotter (Zak), Michelle Belue (Greg), Tim LeMay (Cassie), and Kim Duncan (Odis). Grandchildren: Jordan Davis, Kevin Davis, Bailey Comer, Joshua Duncan, Riley Duncan, Brayden Duncan, Carmen Belue, Bethany Belue, Lane Belue, Chase Belue, Noah LeMay, Silas LeMay, Lydia LeMay, and Sawyer LeMay. Great-Grandchildren: Bensen Shook, Ridge Shook, Turner Shook, Callie Comer, Jack Davis, and Iris Belue. Sisters: June Butler (Edward), Joyce Marlow (Jerry), and Debbie Gatlin.
Service will be Friday, February 23. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. and funeral service following at Rogersville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and officiating the service will be Odis Duncan and Jerry Marlow. Burial will be in the Hooie Bedingfield Cemetery, Rogersville, AL.
