Funeral Services for Sue Carol Duckett Humphries, age 84, of Cullman, AL, will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Chambless officiating; interment in New Hope #2 Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Humphries passed away peacefully at Hanceville Nursing Home on Thursday, November 19, 2020. She was born on July 20, 1936, in Brooklyn, AL, to Homer Lee and Ola Belle Taylor Duckett.
Mrs. Humphries worked with her husband at Humphries Heating and Air in Brooklyn, AL, for over 50 years. She was a proud member of Shelton Grove Baptist Church and loved working with the children in the VBS program.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Herbert L. Humphries; sons, Ronald and Randy Humphries; brother, Dalton Duckett; sisters, Betty Nell Easterwood and Lillian Haynes Appenzeller.
Survivors include grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Jones of Mobile, AL, Jonathan Dale (Brandy) Humphries of Hartselle, AL, and Derek Humphries of Guntersville, AL; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Sophia Jones, Jace, Addison, and Danielle Humphries; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home in Cullman, AL.
