Funeral services for Ms. Sue Brown, age 86, are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, January 7, 2022 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in New Hope Methodist Cemetery. Ms. Brown passed away on Tuesday at her home in Lexington. She was born October 6, 1935 in Lexington to the late Lawrence and Pridis Powers Gurley. She was a retired employee of H.I.S. and a member of New Hope Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Fred Lee Brown and one sister, Mary Lou Wade. Survivors include her two sons, Ronald Brown (Karen) and Donald Brown (Sharon); her daughter, Judy Epperson (Steve); her brother, Fred Gurley (Benita); nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday 5-9 PM and on Friday 10 AM – 1 PM. **The family requests that no food be brought to the funeral home and all visitors observe covid social distancing guidelines.**
