Su Cha Stephens Profile Photo Su Cha Stephens, 82, of Culleoka passed away Sunday June 16, with the Compassus Hospice Care.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday June 19th at 10:00 am with Brother Mylan Coble officiating, burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4-8 pm at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com

Born January 20, 1942 in Chon-Puk, Korea. She was the daughter of the late Chang Song Chong and the late Pun Sun Song. During her childhood and adulthood she always helped her family and had a passion for cooking, she helped her mother in the catering industry, where she met her devoted late husband David. They met while he was stationed in Seoul, Korea and married in 1973 then made their journey back to the United States. She was a very talented laborer with jobs at LDM Industries, Weather Tamer and Wolfe Enterprises. Su spent her days taking care of her late husband, enjoying time with her grandchildren, playing cards, crocheting, burning brush and sunning while cleaning the pool. She was a loving wife, mother and NeNe. She was a member of the Faith Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her only Son Michael (Jennifer) Stephens, Six Grandchildren Ashton Patterson (Dawson Zervas), Alexus Stephens, Bo Stephens, Makinze Stephens, Paiton Stephens and Victoria Stephens

Several Sister n Laws, Brenda ( Ben ) Uselton, Betty Bradley, Nancy Creel, Judy Stephens and Pam Stephens. Several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Stephens, Brother n laws, Bobby Stephens, Jimmy Joe Stephens and Tim Creel. Nephews James Creel and Mack Stephens.

Honorary Pallbearers : Nancy and Chuck Byrn, Brent Watts, Whitney Uselton, Alex Uselton, Brian Bradley, Cam Peden, Parker Stephens, Witten Stephens

The Family Expresses thanks to the Compassus Hospice Care Dr’s, Nurses and Staff, also to Ex Daughter n Law Jamie for her love and assistance shown to the family during her final days.
