Stevie Leon Motes, Jr., age 49, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Big Stevie was a devoted Alabama fan and loved to fish. He was a kindhearted and loving man.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stevie Leon Motes, Sr. and Nadine McLemore Motes; brother, Brett Motes; uncle, Roger Motes, and grandson, Zaxton Motes.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Stevie Motes (Christian), Stuart Motes (Jessica), Madeline Motes (Dylon), Blake Motes; grandchildren, Eastyn Motes, Madelynn Motes, Brisyn Motes, Bentley Robbins, Maci-Mae Motes; siblings, Timmy Hall, Selina Motes, Brandon Motes, Katrina Motes; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Bro. Frankie Tidwell speaking at the service. The burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery.
