Funeral service for Stevie Lamar Rodgers, 55, will be Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Penn and Rev. Doug Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Rodgers died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 28, 1958, in Cullman County to Luther L. Rodgers and Dorothy Renee (Burney) Rodgers. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents .
Survivors include: his Wife: Dorstor Ann (Moore) Rodgers, Hartselle, AL
Two Daughters: Tosha Adams, Cullman, AL, and Jenny McDonald, Vinemont, AL
One Brother: Tony Ausbon, Kentucky
Six Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Robert Moore, Donnie Moore, Steve Boils, Justin Letson, Byron Vinzant, and Greg Speegle.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenneth Whitten, Doug Street, Tommy Wallace, and Tim Butler.
