Stevie Joe Potter, age 70, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away on April 6, 2024. Services will be held Friday, April 12, with a visitation from 2:00-4:00 PM and the funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM. Both will be held at Pleasant Hill Congregational Church in Phil Campbell. Interment will be at East Franklin Cemetery.
Stevie is survived by Wife, Susan Denise Hill Potter; Children, Joey Quillen (Sandra), Lisa South (Rodney), Adreanne Walker (Donnie), Stephanie Ferree (David), Amanda Whitlock and Caitlin Brown (Desmond);
Grandchildren, Kayla Carpenter (Clayton), Joshua Quillen (Katelin), Rebecca Harbor, Zac Layne(Kara), Jarrett and Heath Ferree and Brinleigh and Iyla Brown;
Great Grandchildren, Olivia and Jason Adams, Denver and Callie Quillen and soon to be born grandson Jay Taylor Layne;
Siblings; Rhonda Baker (Charles), Wendy Ergle (David) and Gregg Potter (Sonja)
He was preceded in death by his parents, Teddie Otis and Edna Jean Blankenship Potter, and his brother, Gary Potter.
