Steven Wayne Beckman passed away on June 16, 2024, in Lewisburg, TN. He was born on August 6, 1956, in Flint, MI, to Harold Wayne and Patty Joyce Elder Beckman.
Steven lived a life of adventure and resilience that touched the hearts of all who knew him. A true survivalist at heart, Steven treasured the simple pleasures of hunting and clam digging in Maine, building gas pump engines in Houston, TX, and working in the construction industry in TN. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for hunting and fishing, activities that brought him immense joy.
Apart from his dedication to work and the wilderness, Steven was also a talented musician and could often be found playing enchanting melodies on his guitar and harmonica. His music echoed the stories of a life well-lived and will forever resonate in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
He is survived by his loving mother, Patty Beckman; daughter, Katie Glen; son, Jacob Bridges; brothers, Ron, David, Kevin, Kenny, and Chris; sisters, Carol Ann Dicus and Theresa Burnham; 3 grandchildren; 18 nieces and nephews; and 2 great nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Harold Beckman.
Steven Wayne Beckman, a man who embraced life’s adventures with a fearless spirit and left an indelible mark on all who knew him. May his legacy live on in the stories we share and the music that fills our hearts.
