Steven Renau Williams, 63, of Florence, AL passed away suddenly May 22, 2022. Mr. William’s wish was for his remains to be donated to science, and then be cremated. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served on the U.S.S Forrestal. He was an accomplished carpenter. He found his passion in traveling throughout the United States while visiting National Parks and historical sites. He loved Tennessee football.
On October 2, 2024, his children will bury his remains in the Gulf of Mexico while on a private charter.
Mr. Williams was followed in death by his brother, Carey Wade Lyndon. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald E. Lyndon and his sister, Carolyn Lyndon.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Glenda Lyndon; brother, Tracy Lyndon; daughter, Kelsey J. Knight (Dustin); son, Alex L. Hunter (Kijuana); nieces, Dazlyn Guiterrez, Starla Pacheco, and Izrielle Nippers; and great-great-nephews, Oliver and Oakley Nippers.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
