Steven Glenn Knight of Huntsville passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Peck Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 12,2024, at 1:00 PM with Greg Cain officiating. Burial will be at Hartselle Cemetery. Visitation
will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 PM prior to the service.
Mr. Knight was born March 15, 1962 at Hartselle Hospital to Clifton and Geanell Knight. He graduated from Morgan County High School (now Hartselle High School) in 1980. He was employed by Halsey Foodservice in Huntsville and enjoyed his job and those he worked with very much. Prior to Halsey he worked at the Space and Rocket Center and Trader Joes.
Family was very important to Steve and he was especially close to his three nieces. They enjoyed many hours playing cards and board games together. He also looked forward to and enjoyed the annual family vacation every June. He had a quick wit and a big heart and shared close friendships with many. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Knight.
He is survived by his mother, Geanell Knight; a sister Pam Gray (Jeff) and a brother Cliff Knight (Renee); three nieces Brandi Gray, Meaghan Hill (Joseph) and Amber Fullerton (Justin); a great niece Layla Fullerton; step daughter Sarah Horton (Daniel); and his dear friends Anita and Ellen.
