Steven Anthony Clark – Obituary

Mr. Steven Anthony Clark, age 60, passed away and earned his angel wings on August 15, 2016. He is now reunited with his daughter, Michelle Renee Clark, who preceded him in death on August 31, 1983. Steve was born April 28, 1956 to Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Clark and Hollis Gene Clark, who preceded him in death. Steve was proud to be a Mississippian and was proud of his children. Steve loved to hunt, fish, and cook. He loved to have cookouts and enjoyed working in the garden. Steve was a good friend to many people and fiercely loyal to family.
A service honoring Steven will be at 3:30 PM, Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Rev. Robert Garland officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM to service time. Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
Steve is survived by his mother, Beth, and Daddy, Michael Karl Roper; three daughters, Jennifer Byrd and her husband, Richard Byrd, Shawna Marie Steed and husband, Jason Moore, and Angela Elizabeth Clark; his two sons, Steven Michael Ray Clark and Michael Hollis Clark and stepson, Chris Myrick, and his extended family. He is also survived by his brothers Ronnie Clark and wife Debbie, and David Clark and wife, Jane; eight grandchildren, Kailee Byrd, Emma Byrd, Caleb Steed, Corey White, Cadence White, Christopher Brown, Jacob Clark, and Madison Johnson, all of the Guntown area. He is now reunited with his daughter, Michelle Renee Clark, who preceded him in death on August 31, 1983.
