Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Steve Scarlett, age 63 of Estill Springs. Mr. Scarlett passed away on the evening of February 3, 2020 at Tennova Harton in Tullahoma, TN.  A native of Detroit Michigan he had made his home in Franklin County for the past 28 years.  He was the founder, owner and operator of Royal Touch Cleaning and Landscaping.  He was an avid outdoorsman in every sense of the word from camping, hiking and fishing to inspiring others to appreciate nature. As a landscape artist he was awarded the Franklin County Beautification Award and had a portion of his property dedicated as a wildlife sanctuary.  He will be fondly remembered as having a great sense of humor on all occasions and a great teller of jokes, especially the typical “dad” jokes.  Mr. Scarlett is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Perkins Scarlett and his father, Alfred Earl Scarlett; a sister, Wendy Scarlett.  He is survived by his former wife of 30 years, Dawn Scarlett of Estill Springs; daughter, Veronica (Larry) Reeves of Oak Ridge, TN; son Bradley (Hannah) Scarlett of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Susie (Richard) Maciasz of Livonia, MI, Kathy (Joe) Moore of Taylor, MI and Anita (Ken) Raymond of Astoria, OR; brother, Chris (Lynn) Scarlett of Webberville, MI.   The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home on Friday February 7, 2020 between the hours of 12 noon and 2 p.m.  The funeral service will commence at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Martin Nutter of Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma officiating.  Interment will follow at Watson-North Memorial Park with friends and family serving as pallbearers.  Online condolences may be sent to www.watsonnorth.com.
