Steve Igoe Smith was born January 02, 1964 In Waynesboro, TN to the union of the late Glen and Loretta Burnadette Eckman Smith. He was united in marriage to Lisa Durbin Smith on August 09, 2002. Mr. Smith will be remembered for his uncanny ability to do anything. He worked as a self-employed entrepreneur. He was the kind of person that could make something from nothing. He loved to ride motorcycles, spend time with his family, especially his grandbabies, and loved music. He not only enjoyed listening to music and watching his favorite TV show, American Idol, he was a talented drummer. Mr. Smith departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2024 making his stay in this life some 60 years, 6 months, and 18 days.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Lisa Durbin Smith of Clifton, TN; son, Mark Smith and wife Ashley of Adamsville, TN; daughter, Alesha Casteel of Adamsville, TN; two step-daughters, Beth Morris and husband Josh; Chrissy White and husband Nickel both of Savannah TN; one brother, Lytle Smith and wife Mary of Clifton, TN; six grandchildren, Madison Morris, Colton Morris, Bella White, Parker White, Cade Smith, Oliva Smith and one great grandchild on the way. He is also survived by one niece, Tabitha Clark; three nephews, Walter Smith, Elijah Smith, Coty Smith; and a host of great nieces, great nephews and friends.
Visitation with the Smith family will be on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM all at Clifton Church of Christ.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Clifton Church of Christ with Tracy Love and Jason Love officiating. Burial will follow at Prater’s Chapel Cemetery.
